Oriscience Phosphatase Inhibitor Cocktail(100×)
10×(Tube A 1mL+Tube B 1mL)
Oriscience Phosphatase Inhibitor Cocktail is provided in the form of A and B tubes. The two solutions contain a total of 8 phosphatase inhibitors that can target different phosphatases. A tube (100× in ddH2O) is a mixture of 5 phosphatase inhibitors, Sodium Fluoride, Sodium Orthovanadate, Sodium Tartrate Dihydrate, Sodium Molybdate and Imidazole. It can broadly inhibit acid phosphatases, alkaline phosphatases and protein tyrosine phosphatases (PTPs) and is used to maintain the phosphorylation state of proteins. B tube (100× in DMSO) is a mixture of 3 phosphatase inhibitors, (-)-p-Bromotetramisole oxalate, Cantharidin and Calyculin A. It can effectively inhibit serine/threonine phosphatases and alkaline phosphatases and is used to maintain the phosphorylation state of proteins. Users can also purchase A tube (Cat# PC203) or B tube (Cat# PC204) separately according to their own experimental needs.
This product can be used for protein immunoassay (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), co-immunoprecipitation (Co-IP), pull-down, immunohistochemistry (IHC), immunofluorescence (IF), kinase research and other analyses.
Samples such as cell or tissue extracts contain many endogenous protein phosphatases, which can catalyze the dephosphorylation of phosphorylated proteins in the extracts, which is not conducive to the study of phosphorylation differences under physiological and pathological conditions. Therefore, adding appropriate phosphatase inhibitors to samples such as extracts is an effective method to inhibit protein dephosphorylation.
Broad-spectrum inhibition - inhibits the activity of multiple phosphatases
Flexible use - provided in A and B tubes, can be used alone or in combination
High compatibility - compatible with most cell lysis reagents containing detergents
Wide application - can be used for WB, IP, Co-IP, pull-down, IHC, IF, kinase research and other analyses
