Oriscience Prestained Color Protein Marker (10-180 kDa) contains 10 highly purified and prestained recombinant proteins (10, 17, 25, 33, 43, 55, 72, 95, 130, and 180 kDa, all with a His-tag). The 72 kDa band is orange-red, the 10 kDa band is green, and the remaining bands are blue, making it easier to monitor the progress of electrophoresis and determine protein molecular weights. The low-to-high molecular weight range allows for monitoring protein separation during electrophoresis, determining the molecular weight of target proteins, and monitoring transfer efficiency in Western blotting experiments. This product is prepared in 1× SDS-PAGE loading buffer and can be used directly without boiling, dilution, or the addition of reducing agents. Depending on the well size, load 3-5 μL of sample at a time (increase the sample volume if the gel thickness exceeds 1.5 mm). Clear protein bands will be observed during, after, and after electrophoresis and transfer.
