Oriscience Prestained Color Protein Marker (8-180 kDa) contains 10 highly purified and prestained recombinant proteins ranging from 8 kDa to 180 kDa (8, 16.5, 25, 31, 41, 52, 72, 95, 130, and 180 kDa). The 72 kDa band is orange-red, the 8 kDa band is green, and the remaining bands are blue. This low- to high-molecular-weight range allows monitoring protein separation during electrophoresis, determining the molecular weight of target proteins, and assessing transfer efficiency in Western blotting experiments. This product is recommended as a protein molecular weight marker for SDS-PAGE and Western blotting.
This product is prepared in 1× SDS-PAGE loading buffer and can be used directly without boiling, dilution, or the addition of reducing agents. When using, load 3-5 μL of sample each time according to the size of the loading well (the loading amount can be appropriately increased when the gel thickness is greater than 1.5 mm). Very clear protein bands can be observed during electrophoresis, after electrophoresis, and after transfer.
